The Daphne III project SNaP focussed on the protection of especially vulnerable victims of intimate partner violence/ domestic violence. SNaP looked at the effectiveness and appropriateness of these measures and tools for different groups of victims with special needs in the five countries involved (Austria, Germany, Ireland, Poland and Portugal). Furthermore, it explored alternatives, ranging from adapting existing measures to developing other kinds of interventions, which might meet the victims' needs in a better way.
